Hall Ranch Dust Up 2012

January 9, 2012
What a party! Thanks to Shane and Marc and all who helped with this one. It kicked ass! Met some new folks and even one guy the Sac crew picked up at a Chevron. Turned out he had a talent with the blues.
I did not get many shots of the band and night stuff other than the fire pit side but here's Saturday. I am working on Sunday so you will just have to come back to see them in a day or so...
Go to Chopped Stock Blog to see some more pics including the band stuff from Sat nite.

Builder of the Year 2011

Obsolete Iron hereby bestows "Builder of the Year 2011" to Jesse Jordan. Jesse can be found at Chopped Stock and Just Plain Fun blog. He built this Shovelhead for the Born Free 3 event just after completing the Pan below. Congratulations, Jess. We're not talking billet shit here, but a good old fashioned just like the real shit build it in my garage kind of build. Kind of a hammer and chisel build, if ya know what I mean...

Many thanks Jess for letting me take so many photos of your cool stuff. I made one for you too!

And so 2011 comes to an end. Kick ass year... wonder how we're gunna top this one?

Found 2 Big Files Lost

I was looking through my 2TB external hard drive (full) of photos from the past 10 years and found 2 files of rides I thought I had lost. One is from the Dice Mag Run to Port Costa in 2010 previously using the small jpg's that I had posted to my Flickr page. So I did some editing and this is what I got.

From an Oyster Run to Marin... May not be "Ob Iron", but sure are "Ob Bikers"..treasured and definitely not forgotten...
